These are New Jersey’s Best 5 Beaches

Heading towards the Jersey Shore this year, but not sure where to go? Fear not, as the shore has something to offer everyone that’s visiting (or living) in New Jersey.

There are countless beaches all along the coast for you to dip your toes in the water or play in the sand. From Castaway Cove to Cap May, the New Jersey shore is a treat of its own.

Family Fun – Point Pleasant Beach

For all around family fun, head towards Point Pleasant Beach that offers a fun house style boardwalk, seaside playground and a world-class aquarium. The area is surrounding with entertainment at every corner, amusement rides and a wide range of beaches and dining options galore.

Be sure to check out their newest attraction, Jenkinson’s Adventure Lookout Ropes Course, among the countless other activities to try. You just won’t find the time to do it all. A second trip is a must.

Quiet Time – Stone Harbor

For a little bit more of a laid back and relaxing time, head on over to Stone Harbor. While still family friendly, Stone Harbor is much more quiet with its whole small-town charm. Stone Harbor has a laid-back shopping district and tons of awesome restaurants you won’t know which one to choose.

Best Boardwalk – Ocean City

The sandy city has an 8-mile long stretch of beach and countless activities to do on it’s 2.5 mile boardwalk. A must do in Ocean City is biking (or walking, if that’s your style) the boardwalk. The City Bicycle Center opens up at 7:00 AM where you can rent all types of bicycles and tricycles for children, teens and adults alike.

Amusement Beach – Wildwood

Some think of it as a beach with an amusement park, while others see it as an amusement park on the beach. Either Way, there is no place more exciting than Morey’s Piers in Wildwood. The park has more than 100 different rides and attractions, food and entertainment all seaside. Adults, don’t be fooled, you will probably have more fun inside the 10,000 square foot artBox than the kids do.

Best Food – Cape May

Now if you’re more into good food than beach ready bodies, Cape May is the scene for you. Boasting with a lively dining options from Indian curries to local favorites, Cape May has it all. The options here are sure to please your taste buds morning, day or night. The high-end dining options around Cape May are not limited, from the Ebbitt Room to the Peter Shields to the Washington Inn, picking just one is not an option.
