Basking Ridge is one of the four sections that make up Bernards Township, which has a population of more than 21,000. Despite being the smallest section of the township, Basking Ridge has attracted a lot of interest from major corporations, entrepreneurs, and growing families.

    The school also has highly competitive varsity teams. Ridge High isa member school of the Skyland Conference, a 22-memberNJ high school sports association.
